   Establishing in the year 1965, Dhemaji College, since its year of establishment, is endeavoring to impart quality education to a population of ten lakhs people, comprising schedule tribes, scheduled casts and other economically and socially backward communities. The college motto Cherishes the hope that learning and an academic pursuit will be a lifelong habit to anyone who goes through the portal of this institution. Enriched with a teaching staff of highly qualified faculty members of both Arts and Science, a library with good number of books and journals, good laboratories, adequate number of class rooms, spacious campus with facilities for games, sports and other outdoor activities, hostels accommodation for both boys and girls. The College, for the last forty two years of its existence, is thriving to achieve the aim of attaining a position as an institution of academic excellence. We, in our college, want to infuse a spirit of national interrelation among the students, a spirit of social and national obligation among them, a spirit of self confidence, a spirit to respect moral and ethical values and to prepare our students to identify themselves as human resource, our effort is and will be to achieve this noble goal.
