LIBRARY AND LIBRARY RULES

The college has a well furnished Library with sufficient number of books, journals, newspapers etc. The Library has ideal Reading Room facility for students and faculty members.

Library Opening Hours:

Weekdays : 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.
Issue Time : 10 A.M. to 2.P.M.

Number of Cards Issued:

H.S. : 2 each
TDC (Major) : 2 + 2 = 4 each
TDC (Core): 2 each

In no case can a student keep a book for more than 15 days from the date of issue. If he/she does not return the book within 15 days, a fine of Rs. 1.00 (one rupee) only per day will be imposed.

To give additional inputs and other related information Dhemaji College Library has a separate Reference Section for students and faculty members.

To adjust with the recent trend of different competitive and service entry examinations, the College has introduced a separate cell in the college library from the Academic session 2007-08 under the assistance of the UGC. The Cell contains almost all the supporting books and other related information on different competitive and service entry examinations, topics etc. It is an opportunity to have such valuable materials and information in a college library on modern trend of competitive and service entry examinations and therefore taking the full advantage of it from the part of the student community is one of the main expectations of Dhemaji College.

DEPARTMENTAL LIBRARY

There are also Departmental Libraries in each department of the college. These Departmental libraries contain sufficient number of books for the students which are located in the respective departmental room. Students are free to avail the opportunity of Departmental Library under certain
Conditions/rules of the department concerned to fulfill their urgent academic need.

XEROX/PHOTOSTAT FACILITY

Xerox/Photostat facilities are available at the college. Students are free to avail this facility at concessional rate.
