The number one benefit for any online student would be the commute. All you have to do is travel to your desk, office, or study and turn your computer on. You don’t have to deal with traffic or snowy days. You can study in no time, with just a click of a mouse. Of course you will need a well running computer in order to study effectively online. Make sure your computer or notebook is up to date with the latest software and anti-virus protection. Having Windows XP, Vista, or 7 is also strongly suggested.
Another benefit with most online schools is not following a classroom schedule. You can study anywhere and anytime you want! Your class won’t have to meet for an important discussion. At your convenience, you can post important questions and points on the message boards or chat rooms. You will also have a chance to either call or e-mail your instructor for any help that you need, which brings me to my next benefit.
